This product was sent
to me to review by Smooth Velvet
. Upon arrival, the product was packed securely and was also
addressed accordingly. There was no sign that this parcel came from
an adult retailing company. I do like a company that can keep a
customer's business low key with being discreet. Smooth velvet are a
highly professional on line retailer, with a polite and punctual
customer service department. Postage wise, I received this product
within 2-3 days of posting, which I feel is good going for
free-postage and Royal Mail.
The product packaging
is black and white and envisages a young and sexy woman curled up in
the sling, enjoying herself. The box has a 1950's vintage style feel
to it, I think it is rather classy, nothing vulgar to it. I do like
how the branded company have an intriguing and 'page turning' story
on the back side of the box. Sex and Mischief do this on all of
their product packaging, it's like their personal and unique trade
symbol.
To use this sling, it
really does speak for it's self, nothing complicated about it at all.
Adjust the leg straps, place feet in straps and padded area on your
back and 'Bob's ya uncle', you're good to go. I found that
you could also use the sling to tie a partner down i.e. place their
hands through the stirrups and have the sling running under the
mattress. Basically, this nifty little product does what it says on
the packet!
However I do have a
'but', which is the material it's self. It feels rough, doesn't sit
right against my skin and I did scratch myself a couple of times with
the edging whilst testing the sling out. There is also no give to
the material. Yes you can adjust the straps but there is no actual
flexibility to the material, which for me would have been the icing
on the cake.
The RRP for this
product is £15.50 (average), which I think is a fair price.
All in all, I do like
the Sex Sling Classic but I personally think this product could be
much better, by adding some sort of elasticity to the straps and
possibly rounding off the strap's edging with thin padding or a
softer material.
Thank you to Smooth
Velvet for letting me review this product for them.
